The final countdown has begun!

With less than 10 days to go before the start of play at the AEGON Pro-Series Barnstaple, there is a real buzz of excitement going around the Tarka Tennis Centre. A really great Players entry list was submitted to the ITF last week, and we hope there wont be too many changes before the final list is confirmed on Monday 28 September.

Following Spectator feedback from the 2008 inaugural event, improvements have been made across the Tournament. The biggest addition this year is this website. Not only can you buy tickets day or night, but we will be regularly updating the information on it to keep all Tennis fans up-to-date with news from the Tournament.

From here you will be able to see whos taking part via the Players section (complete with a link from each name to their ITF profile page), get the results of each match on the Draws & Results section and read match reports on all the action via the home page.

An Order of Play will be posted on the site each day around 6pm, and again at the end of Play on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 when evening matches will be held. This will help you decide which matches to follow and what time they all start - simply click the link opposite to download a PDF with all the information youll need.


NEW for 2009 - Childrens Day, Wednesday 7 October.

New for this year is the introduction of a Childrens Day. We have managed to obtain the KidsZone activity equipment which is used at Wimbledon, the Davis Cup and other major UK Tournaments. This is a great way for Children to have a break from the first round matches, finding out what their speed of serve is and other fun ways to enjoy Tennis. The day is free to all children under 16 years old and will be a great way to get to know more about the Sport.
